All of us have heard of the favorite quote which says that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Most of the parents will not agree to this, but this is absolutely true. It is the responsibility of the parents that their children should not just be motivated for studies but also encouraged to take part in some extra-curricular activities. This helps in the complete development of an individual. Work and play should go hand in hand. It is very necessary for a student to score good grades but it also necessary to be a good performer when it comes to sport and extra-curricular activities. This is because such activities will help a child in getting practical exposure.
The parents should make it a point that when the child is young they must indulge their children into such activities which will help them in learning and also make them enjoy. This will also encourage a student in doing well in studies. Thus a child will get a practical exposure and also learn new things. The children can be encouraged to take part in many events like singing, dancing and painting. This will help them in learning a new kind of art and succeed in life. The students must be encouraged at every level so that they do not lose motivation and hope and prosper in their life.
So, instead of making your Jack a dull boy, motivate him and inspire for learning new things and indulge him into some of these activities. It is totally the responsibility of the parents how they take care of their children.
